RC KALIBO SPONSORED STAC EXHIBIT


Municipality of Kalibo, Mayor Raymar A. Reybaldo and
LENS Magazine Editor Ms. Nina Candelario during the
cutting of ribbons at the Kalibo Museum to open
STAC EXHIBIT for the benefits of the disabled children
under the care of the STIMULATION AND THERAPEUTIC
CENTER, Kalibo, Aklan.

The exhibit is in cooperation with LENS MAGAZINE fundraising
for STAC to benefits the more than 265 children with disabilities.

Paintings for auction and sale are now on exhibit at the Kalibo Museum,
with magazines, toys, and other donated materials for the children like
the wheelchairs from the club, too.

Other showcase are souvenir items that made and hand painted
pictures by the disabled yet talented kids from STAC.


Incoming Club President Megs Lunn posed in front of the big
image picture of another benefactor of STAC and the
club, too - MR. SAMUEL J. BUTCHER. A contemporary
American Artist who owns Sampaguita Gardens Resort
in New Washington, Aklan.

SJB sponsored the children's feeding program and fun
at Sampaguita Gardens last February 2007 ....

...with little Rael's family (his Dad Chrency and Mom Berry)
during the opening of the exhibit..
wheelchairs donated by the club at the background, too...
Rael has cerebral palsy (can't sit nor stand) and is a one of the children
who is undergoing therapy with STAC.

magazine for Php100.00 and the proceeds goes to STAC.

On the other hand, some members of the club who are also members
of the Tri-Media had a wonderful fellowship last March 19, 2007.

at Aklan Training Center last March 19, 2007.


IP Megs with newly met fellow Rotarian from RC Chicago, USA,
Marlon Pecson, (National Press Club Journalist based in Chicago)
during the Aklan Press Club Testimonial Dinner to celebrate
the 19th Martyrs 111th Anniversary.
