BLOGS

The club donated 7 unit of wheelchairs yesterday
(March 11) to STIMULATION & THERAPEUTIC CENTER
in Kalibo. Headed by Pres. More and Project Coordinator IP Megs Lunn,
the simple turn-over ceremony turned-out to be successful with
no less than OIC to the Mayor our very own Rtn. Greg Malapad
represented the Local Gov't. Unit and some Municipal Health Officials, too.

One of the 7 beneficiaries of the wheelchair in the center:
His name is KEN SHIN EUSEBIO from Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan
He is 5 years old and suffering from cerebral palsy and can't stand
and walk.


This is the adorable CEASAR VELORIA, 8 years old, from
Brgy. Pinamuk-an, New Washington, Aklan. His 3 yo sister is also of the same
ailment: INBORN OSTEOGENESIS IMPERFECTA and both
are unable to walk.
Isn't he looks GWAPO talaga hehehe he can speak well and
it's nice to hear him talk and happy about the wheelchair...

Ms. Chita dela Cruz Heap from UK visited the club
and our guest speaker during the 25th regular meeting.
She represents PREM RAWAT FOUNDATION (MAHARAJI).
Ms. Heap is a native of Pook, Kalibo, Aklan and is married
to John Heap of UK, both are advocates of PREM RAWAT
who has almost the same vision as of R.I. : PEACE AND
UNDERSTANDING IN THE WORLD thru Humanitarian Missions.

(Pedia-Pulmo MD) and Spouse Becky Morrier during the graduation

Our partners in service: NEW WASHINGTON COMPREHENSIVE
HIGH SCHOOL in New Washington. The Interactors comes to the
Feeding Pr0gram once a week to help read for children.
Kodus INTERACTORS, keep it up! You are our future leaders
in Rotary....

Rotary Community Corp of Malogo, New Washington is always
on the go, this time they have the livelihood program on
CANDLE AND FLOWER MAKING.
Rtn. Leny waist no time when it comes to
Livelihood project....they also have DEBONED BANGUS for sale,
and same as the product of their sweat, the scented and unscented candles
and the flowers, too....more to come RCC MALOGO.
The RCC MALOGO acquired recently new equipments
for the BANGUS DEBONING like the freezer and other equipments
for the MILK FISH not to be spoiled.....
The seed money of 100K livelihood program for Bangus Deboning
is thru the courtesy of our Honorary Member - Gov. Lito Marquez during
RY 2007-08 led by IPP Gus Solmirano.

PP Art Carpio sperheaded the conduct of orientation seminar
for the RCC in New Washinton..PP Art has been a long time
Director for Club Service, he is really down on his knees
of his committee in the Service Projects.....
Oh well, if you are retired, you really need to do something
not become IDLE......something to look forward to after
you retire? JOIN ROTARY!

The club joined the ATI-ATIHAN FESTIVAL last Jan. 2008.

Rota Kids Carmela and Ann-Ann is looking forward to finally get their
own pictures during the event hehehe

Both are active Rota kids whenever there is Rotary Event.
